South Korea-based DEEPX, which is building on-device AI chips, raised an ~$80M Series C led by SkyLake at a ~$529M valuation, taking its total funding to ~$95M — DEEPX is a South Korean on-device AI chip (NPU, or neural processing unit) startup that makes hardware and software for various AI applications in electronic devices.
